Dominica: First National Reading Competition
Hats off to Felix Henderson, The Ministry of Education, teachers and sponsors of the first ever National reading competition that climaxed yesterday July 4th 2008 at the Arawak House of Culture in Dominica. The event began June 2nd and stretched over the entire island. The Nation witnessed excellent reading skills from exceptional children who represented their respective primary schools. Although the Barean Christian Academy won the event; all the children were winners.
