Security: The crime rate in Dominica is very low to compare with many countries. Most of the crime that occurs are domestic. In the event your bag is stolen from you, a member or members of the public will chase the offender, apprehend him and hand him over to the police. The police officers are the best in the Caribbean and are very vigilant. There are police officers on patrol 24-7 and the police stations around the island does not close. All this in an effort to guarantee safety and security on the island.
